Biography
Sold Soul is a blackened melodic deathcore band based in North Carolina, USA. Primarily the project of vocalist/songwriter Stevie O’Shaughnessy, the band is known for blending aggressive deathcore with atmospheric elements from black metal, melodic death metal, and orchestral arrangements; crushing breakdowns, melodic deathcore elements, and dark lyrical themes rooted in tales of hell, hatred, and existential struggle. Formed around 2017, they quickly gained attention in the underground for their visceral delivery and compelling songwriting, drawing influence from heavyweights like Lorna Shore, Shrine of Malice, Acrania, and Mire Lore.
