Biography
Some Sort Of Oasis was an Experimental/Post Hardcore band from Detroit Michigan. SSOO was a continuation of a project called Fragments Of Fiction who released a 3 song demo as a 2 piece before the band would form and balloon to 7 active members during their run. SSOO released the EP This Entire EP is About You independently shortly before breaking up, giving away all remaining copies and merch at the final show at The Pikeroom in Pontiac Michigan.
SSOO played almost as many shows as a dead band as they did when they were active, jumping on random shows and playing local festival reunion sets, sometimes being asked while the show had already started.
