The six tracks revisit material from Van Cleef's earlier repertoire with Van Cleef Continental, Humulus and The Fuzz Resistance, reinterpreted by the new lineup. The recording moves away from the project's stoner-rock roots toward neo-psychedelic and desert-rock territory, while retaining heavier and doom-influenced elements.
The live session serves as the starting point for Song Of The Lizard's new original repertoire, with the band working toward a subsequent album of previously unreleased material.
