Released in March 2010, "When The Sea Water Reaches The Window" is 9 tracks of scratchy, ambient pop music, layering detuned guitars, samples and percussion over playful song structures and arrangements. The results are sonically reminiscent of Flaming Lips' "Clouds Taste Metallic", while some of the longer, meandering tracks recall "Indian" era Animal Collective.
Speak Galactic's debut is available on CD in a hand-made, screen-printed sleeve. Limited to 100 copies and sold through the band's website. The album is also available digitally world-wide through itunes and Amazon.
