Biography
Out from the wastes of Cimmeria, Steel Bearing Hand has come to tread the jeweled thrones of the earth with booted feet and overthrow the heretical tyrants and sacrilegious interlopers who corrupt the sanctity of Metal.
Formed in 2009 in Dallas as Live by the Sword by Wyatt Burton (vocals/guitars), Matt Preston (drums), and Steven Frydman, the band soon changed its name to Steel Bearing Hand in 2010. They released a four-track demo that year and have since built a reputation for raw, aggressive, high-energy metal that blends thrash, death, and blackened influences with epic and street-punk touches.
