Sunn O))) / KTL's Stephen O'Malley needs no introduction, and Steve Noble shouldn't either - since coming up in the 1980s as a member of Rip, Rig & Panic he's established itself as one of the world's foremost improv musicians, wreaking havoc across drums, percussion and turntables.

The duo - who have been working together in Aethenor for some years - create a wild session: O'Malley attacks his guitar with real violence, creating an oppressive but nonetheless dynamic wall of sludge riffage - interspersed with passages of scorched Earth-style desert blues - that's more than matched in intensity by the megalithic momentum of Noble's drumming.
