Biography

Swan Lingo is an emerging artist that is changing the landscape of R&B music. Hailing from Washington D.C., Swan first fell in love with the craft while taking African drumming classes as a kid. His growing interest eventually led him to rapping and writing his own material. Taking inspiration from artists like Ms Lauryn Hill, Beach Fossils, and Craft Spells – Swan effortlessly created a sound that supplies a contemporary take on 90’s/00s R&B.

It didn’t take long for his music to catch the eyes of producer Shlomo and the young talent soon found himself releasing his material under the WEDIDIT Collective. From 2016 to 2020, the D.C. native released an array of singles and three projects including two EP’s and a full-length LP. After a much-deserved break, Swan is back in the music sphere with his new single ‘Hurt’. The emotive record explores his feelings of isolation, heartbreak and moving on. With his hypnotic single making the rounds, the rising talent is slowly giving fans a sneak-peek into his new music era.
