To Name But A Few!!

It stands for The order Of The Hawks and was formed in 1979 by kev and gromit. This first disc contains the original "Gromits House tapes" which was given out as a demo tape from december 79 onwards. The rest are a handfull of covers recorded at alan gordens studio on an early 1970's cassette player, and some general "Shit".It has often been remarked that this band were the inspiration for the Comic Strip's Bad News or that they were the musical equivalent of "Derek & Clive".

There really was going to be an album called; "The Legend Of Caravan Stan & Eric The Fruitbat",and yes they did play a handfull of gigs, which were a chaotic affair to say the least but with a loyal following of around 25 people there was never a dull moment !

None of this would have been possible if it were not for the following...........

Paul & Dennis (Iron Maiden),Weapon,Bob Angelo (Praying Mantis),Tim & Roy (Mean Street),Phil Collen (Girl),Kelly & Denise (Girlschool),Yan (Kenny),Gary Owen (A II Z),Rat Scabies (Damned),Decca Wade (Angelic Upstarts),The Spurs Pub,The Clarendon Hammersmith,Del Stevens,

TF Much,Steve Gadd (Charlie),Vic (Ruskin Arms),Venom,Apocalypse,Overkill,Sirus,Hawkwind,Motorhead,Stranglers,CrAss.
