Biography
The Creem was formed in 2026 by indie-rock veterans Nick Thorburn (of Islands and The Unicorns) and Mike Stroud (of Ratatat). The pair, whose artistic collaboration had been brewing since the mid-2000s, dropped their debut pop-throwback single "Goodbye" and their full LP, A Taste of Cherry. Their sound blends shimmering, hypnotic guitar lines with catchy, ’70s-style pop anthems.
