Biography
The Royal Assassins were a 7 piece ska/punk/hardcore band from Durham, CT and was made up entirely of students from Coginchaug Regional High School (from classes of 2004 and 2005). In there (approximately) 2 year existence, they rocked the faces off all who attended local shows at the United Churches of Durham, other local venues, and elsewhere in Connecticut. No one can forget TRA's top notch horn lines, and hardcore breakdowns which made their songs both skankable and moshable. Their sound was heavily influenced by bands such as Catch 22, Big D and the Kids Table, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Although this band not together anymore, their sound is immortalized in their 2 album releases. Former members of The Royal Assassins can be found with the likes of Tip the Van and At All Costs.
