I have very happy memories of the dingy little store on the first level of the subway at Times Square, NYC. It was about 20 feet long and 1/2 that in width. Records hung from the walls, ceiling and boxes and boxes of pure New York Doo Wop. Ah those were the days, I thought they would never end, but they did.
I have all 11 CDs of Memories of Times Square Records, Some of the songs were great, some were just OK. But they were all Doo Wop. This was the only store of it kind then that just sold one genre of music, on a Saturday afternoon you waited in line to get in. God I miss those days.
