---With the implosive enthusiasm of a restless, ragged, and dragged late night wanderer, 'the vegetables' make drunken promises to reveal the true beauty of life -- all its ups and downs, fits and stops. Melding together the theatrical dynamism of Roxy Music and Brian Eno into the full-blown psychedelic madness of Syd Barrett, The Soft Machine, and the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, a unique sound emerges with the organic qualities of Donovan balanced with the loathesome swagger of bowie's 'the lodger'. -- The Indiana Music Archive
