Biography
The Whiskey Collection took form in New York City when five artists studying at The Juilliard School began sharing music and stories together in the Spring of 2010. Their songs are born out of the imagination of North Carolina native, Cameron Scoggins, conjuring images from the rolling hills of the Blue Ridge, sad abandoned saloons, lonesome wanderers, and the idyllic romanticism of the undiscovered west. With influences ranging from old hand bluegrass masters David Grisman and Tim O’Brien to soulful songstresses Billie Holiday and Erykah Badu, The Whiskey Collection draws upon all its member’s unique musical upbringing and vision.
