The band performs traditional sea music, broadside ballads, shanties, and pirate songs, all with their decidedly original arrangements, as well as their own original work. Their most popular song to date is their rendition of "Derelict" (yo ho ho and a bottle of rum).
There Be Pirates! is a full band, not a novelty or Ren Faire act.
