Thomas Babou (born in Liège, Belgium, on 12 February 1656, died at Liège to 1740) was a Walloon organist and composer.

His son, Jean-François-Pascal (1700 - 1767), was also organist at the church (1726 to 1767), practiced as a notary, and was secretary of the chapter of St John from 1742. We owe him a copy of a likely organ Book, preserved in the library of the Conservatoire of Liège, with several pieces "by Mr. Babu", dated 1709 and 1710 . Their bright and worldly style oscillates between Italian and French influences in Le Begue, and can in many cases be suitable for harpsichord.
