Biography
Tony Vaz is a left-of-centre indie rocker from Brooklyn, NY, United States. His solo debut album, Pretty Side of the Ugly Life, came out in October 2024, more than four years after his debut single, 'June's New Villain' (2020).
"Mixing elements of Midwest emo, alt-country, and early ’80s synth pop as if he’s rummaging through a theater wardrobe, Vaz plays the part of juvenile delinquent and itinerant beat poet." (Pitchfork)
