Biography
Psychotic, distorted synths and heavy mechanical drums dominate the mix. Sounds get chopped, mangled and rearranged. Things move so fast that it’s hard to keep up. A frenetic explosion of ideas. The work of a mastermind. Mashing everything from UK hardcore, jungle, drum & bass, jazz, hip-hop and dubstep; Tim Pryde AKA Trimaxis is a one-man electronic band. Inspired by innovative bass guitarists such as Squarepusher, Les Claypool and Jaco Pastorius; plus the warped sounds of Venetian Snares, Aphex Twin and Mr Bungle, Trimaxis’ anti-genre approach to music has allowed him to create something that is truly his own.
