Sixteen old year old, Spanglish Teen Pop Idol Singer/Songwriter “Tyna Q” is an old soul indeed. Tyna began her journey since the early age of 4. Since then she continues to create a buzz throughout the Music Industry across the country, domestic as well as within the Hispanic Forum. Though she was raised just north of Atlanta, Georgia in the suburbs of Alpharetta, it has taken absolutely nothing away from her Hispanic Roots. In fact, her personal background is a representation of all Hispanics, bringing to them a positive message to our youth. Tyna comes from a family of the Arts. Which, God has so blessed her with a naturally beautiful voice. Among Tyna’s powerful, yet sweet sounds, she has other remarkable talents: songwriting, dancing, acting, modeling, and plays instruments such as: piano and guitar. Tyna is not just a complete package but rather a “GIFT“.

With Tyna’s unique and compelling sounds have been compared to many American and Hispanic celebrity singing songstresses from past to present, such as the late great Selena Quintanilla, Mariah Carey, and Christina Aguilera. As with her voice & dancing, she generates a WORLD class presentation of diversity. Tyna's performances creates a fusion between the best that Spanish speaking youth have to offer, and a uncanning combination of Anglo-Saxon Pop Culture and other crossovers, that does not forget her ethnic and cultural roots. The best musical theme that characterizes Tyna, is her unique harmonies and interpretations of sounds and rhythms of today’s youth. While singing either in Spanish and English or in the language spoken by many of our Hispanics today ~ SPANGLISH ~ Tyna has created the ultimate sound of music suitable and acceptable for every age, every gender, and every race to enjoy.

Tyna has performed well over 500 shows alone since she landed her very first live performance on stage in Atlanta’s Expo for Tavis Smiley’s BET event when she was just eleven years old. From then on she has soared to great heights. Everything from FOX 5 Good Day Atlanta, Hispanic Television Station Telemundo, National Anthem for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hip-Hop Film Festival, Teen Choice Awards just to name a few. Her interviews on Radio Stations across the country were from Atlanta, New Jersey, and Houston. She has been in Magazines and Newspapers from Atlanta’s SIR Magazine, Urban Latino Magazine (NY), San Francisco Chronicle, La Voz Newspaper (NY), OMG Magazine and Dalton Newspaper in Ga. With Tyna’s eagerness to give back she has performed all across the country for educational school assemblies stretching from her hometown in Atlanta to Los Angeles.

Presently, Tyna Q is working doubly hard, both as a proud American and Hispanic Artist. And she is surely up for the task for whatever God has placed in her path. With that said Tyna looks to set her goals out to be a positive role model for her as well as future Generations to come.
