It has been quite a while since ulman was regarded as the „... young German folk elite ...“ and brought clubs and festivals all over Europe to the boil.
After a creative pause used to shape the new ulman style the four extraordinary musicians are back at last.

The multifacetted hurdy-gurdy ... a jazzy trombone ... improvisation ... catchy melodies and phrases that enter the ear at once, but fail to leave it ever again ... a diatonic accordeon which could well have been an electric bass in one of its former lives ... soft strings ... all of this held together by the beats of the new „ulman-drums“.
Only with difficulty can the new ulman style be fitted in somewhere between world-beat, folk-jazz and ethno-groove – just ulman!
A concert with this band means fun! ulman rocks, whispers dreamily and then grooves again, causing people of all ages to party and dance. They are simply fascinating!
