Biography
Urilia was an American extreme metal band from Hollywood, California, United States originally formed in 2011 by the past members of Dawn of Ashes and Psyclon Nine. Their early music was described as industrial with black metal elements during this period. The band shared a song in pre-production called Carnography but never officially released music. In 2014, the band reformed with a new lineup after Kristof Bathory ended Dawn of Ashes.
The name Urilia came from the occult book The Necronomicon. The text of Urilia, also known as “the book of the worm” explains the warnings behind saying the name Urilia or dabbling with any black magic from the text within the book. To say the name Urilia is to witness humanity being torn apart by unspeakable demons.
