Biography
Vörjeans is the rockabilly alter ego of the Fenno-Swedish humor group KAJ. The members are Tommy (Jakob Norrgård), Freppa (Kevin Holmström) and Määnin (Axel Åhman), along with Thåossin (Jonas Sirén) and Gambämäänin (Kenneth Sirén). The group made their first appearance in 2014 on KAJ's julkalender (KAJ's Christmas calendar) and released their first album "Born to Börn" in 2019. They also performed the songs "Born to Börn" and "Volvoräägör" on KAJ's 10 year anniversary concert in 2020.
The name "Vörjeans" is a play on the word "Virgins" and a combination of the words "Vörå" and "jeans", referring to the fact that they are from the town of Vörå and wear jeans.
