Valencia Grace
Biography
Valencia Grace is a British-born, transatlantic-raised independent pop singer-songwriter, creating modern pop with a dark, theatrical, and operatic edge. Born on June 24, 2003, in Oxford, England, and raised in the coastal town of Poole, Dorset, she first rose to prominence by sharing raw, emotional music and powerhouse vocal covers online.
Grace began writing songs during the first COVID-19 lockdown as an emotional outlet to process personal challenges and family trauma. Treating her music as a "public sonic diary," she initially uploaded her work to Valencia Grace's TikTok, where she amassed over 2.5 million followers. Her early acoustic and piano-driven tracks—such as her 2022 debut single "It Was You" and follow-ups like "Goodbye" and "Skin"—caught the attention of major tastemakers and led to a brief signing with Columbia Records.

Following the split from Columbia Records, Grace embraced full creative freedom as an independent artist. She partnered with alt-pop producer CJ Baran (known for his work with Marina and Melanie Martinez) to pivot from stripped-back acoustic ballads toward a noir-inspired, synth-driven dance-opera sound. Her music balances infectious pop melodies with dramatic, avant-garde aesthetics that cater to "pop outsiders".
She has performed live sets at major global music festivals, including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Outside Lands, and BST Hyde Park. In March 2026, she launched her sold-out debut U.S. headlining run, titled the SUPER ELASTIC: A POP OPERA Tour. She expanded her live presence by supporting Melanie Martinez on the Hades: The Sacrifice Tour, headlining international festivals like JVAL Openair, and booking an extensive 23-date North American headline tour for spring 2027.
