By early 2010, Jonas and Sean (the members of VaporEyes) had begun to form their own consistent sound, as well as decide to change the band name to VaporEyes. A compilation of their 25 personal favorites from the HPRS era can be downloaded free. It is mostly full of tracks made on synth. It includes all original songs, although a few tracks do use premade loops.

In May 2010, Shannon Zory joined, and the band really took form. Their sound is still being crafted, making spacey, atmospheric live improv beats with live drums, synth, bass, 6 and 12- string guitar. Since then, the band has been endlessly jamming, and perfecting sound for future recordings. Although mainly an instrumental group, lyrics have been written, and tracks featuring smooth vocalist Melanie Dewey are planned to be recorded by summer 2011 at the latest.

VaporEyes are currently working towards a disc with good instrumental tracks, and some tracks with lyrics. About halfway there, and the plan is to have at least a rough version of the album this year.
