Biography
Verletzen is a Welsh black metal band formed in 2016, rooted in the raw and uncompromising spirit of the underground. Their sound draws heavily from the second wave of black metal, combining icy tremolo picked riffs, piercing shrieks, relentless blast beats and dark, atmospheric melodies with occasional punk influences. Balancing savage aggression with haunting passages and a distinctly old school aesthetic, Verletzen pay homage to the genre's Norwegian roots without losing their own identity. Their lyrical themes revolve around darkness, occultism and nihilism.
