Biography
Victoria Mingot is a Copenhagen-based musician known for her work with the zither, as well as flute, acoustic guitar, and keyboard. Her pieces are mostly instrumental, defined by plaintive melodic structuring for acoustic guitar on what sounds like dictaphone recordings that imbue everything with a eerie intimacy. Vocals are usually enchantingly casual, even barely-there, lower case strums and murmurs. Her work focuses on long-form listening and exploring a sonic language composed of soft noise, patience, and proximity.
