Biography
Voice of The Enemy emerged from the swampy waters of South Louisiana in August of 2012. The band consists of co-founders Brendan Labry (Drums) Hayden Kimball (Lead Guitar/Vocals), and Luke Peebles (Bass). Newcomer Chris Rabalais took over Rhythm guitar duties when the band parted ways with their previous rhythm guitarist, Ethan Kimble. After parting ways with their previous drummer, the band joined forces with former The Other LA drummer, Sebastian Martin. They bring their bluesy, heavy Southern groove and marry it with the raw, chunky, kick-in-the-teeth aggression of Thrash metal, with a bit of melodic flavor. They've taken in influences such as Black Label Society, Texas Hippie Coalition, Metallica, Pantera, Halestorm, Disturbed, Amon Amarth, Bullet for My Valentine, Van Halen, Skid Row, Crown the Empire, and so many more. The band had an incredible year in 2014 as they played their first big venues, such as The Varsity Theatre, and having fun while throwing down with their good friends in other local bands.
