Biography
WINDRESS was founded in January 2009 by Miu (Vocal), Fu (Guitar), Scáth (bass) and Suzu (drums). Inspired by the dark side rooms of their existence, they construct thick sound walls on female vocals, melodies sweeping like tornados through the ears. With the special blend of English and Japanese lyrics, they give their sound the necessary charisma to step out from the crowd and to fight for their place on stage. Already a year after its founding, the young band has celebrated initial success when they won the "Battle of the Bands" at the 2010 Contopia. Listeners may expect a foaming maelstrom of emotions, because windress are fast, loud, unstoppable.
