While The City Sleeps are a 5 piece band from Melbourne, Victoria.
Forming in May 09' the boys went straight to work to try and create their own sound and style.
With the release of a 5 track demo shortly after, and an amazing EP following, WTCS have made a strong name for themselves within the local scene.

While The City Sleeps is a swedish group of 6 twenty-and-somes playing organic indie rock mashed up with cello, piano and female background vocals. Musically the debut "Back When We Knew" (May 2011) relies on strong melodies and climactic build-ups, venturing between influences such as upbeat Arcade Fire, experimental Radiohead and moodful Sigur Ros.
