Biography
Power trio featuring Bobby Hussy on guitar and vocals, Tyler Spatz on bass and Hart Alan Miller on drums.
Whippets released their debut 7" EP via Italy's legendary garage label Goodbye Boozy in 2022. It sold out within a week. Their self-titled debut LP came two years later via Hussy's own label No Coast (Oh Sees, Patriarchy, Carrellee, Wristwatch, etc). The band is known for intense and chaotic live shows as well as nuanced recordings that teeter equally between post-punk, grunge, shoegaze and garage rock. Their reputation for impressive live performances gained them a coveted opening slot for Jack White in their hometown of Madison, WI during White's 2024 run of secret shows.
