Biography
Worlds Turn To Ash is a death metal group consisting of vocalist/bassist Philip Whitehead, guitarists Jack Buckley and Scott Brankin, drummer Draca Wilford and keyboardist Charlie Pritchard formed in 2016.
After leaving the pop-punk/melodic hardcore group Eight Days From Sunday in 2015, Whitehead retreated from music, although unsuccessfully trying to launch a melodic death metal group that summer. After a year away from performing, he joined the nu metal group Dizruption under the stage name "Lektor". With a renewed creative spark, he used the ideas that weren't suited for Dizruption to record a solo demo entitled "Idiocracy" under the name Worlds Turn To Ash. With university studies causing him to leave Dizruption, he enlisted guitarists Jack Buckley and Scott Brankin, drummer Draca Wilford and keyboardist Charlie Pritchard to fully launch Worlds Turn To Ash as a group.
