Biography
Yeyo Moroder is the musical nick name of artist and musician Gerardo Monsivais, co-co-co founder of the Monterrey-DF Mexico´s based combo Los Lichis, sound terrorists and overwhelming mother******s who plays any instrument they can take with special care. They are conceptual artists, and painters and serious dope consumers, one night in Paris they played together with sameness spiritual take overs Los Reynols and then became Monterrey´s most interesting underground band in the 90´s.
Yeyo Moroder started his own project, made with all kind of musical sources, bad plugged pick ups over acoustic guitars, cheap keyboards, funny digital toys, demo software and lately a Kaos Pad. Tons of cassettes recorded that could conform an awsome lost discography; psychedelic over concrete music, kraut over humor, experimental over sweetness. Moroder sound is a mixture of The Durutti Column meets Faust meets Pierre Henry meets Cri-Cri.

But don´t get it wrong, Yeyo Moroder sound is no related to any sound because in his mind there´s no such a musical enyclopaedia goin'on; instead there´s a fine musical ear, connected to some no-idiosyncratic, no pretensious self fullfilment on rare excursions into and outo the sound as itself.
This is one of a hidden treasures of new mexican music until now!
