Biography
Zintnieks is a Latvian psychedelic stoner/doom metal band based in Rīga, Latvia. Formed in 2018, the group's sound is characterized by a dualistic interplay between heavy, low-tuned guitar riffs and airy, ethereal female vocals.
The band blends elements of stoner doom and post-metal, often creating long, ritualistic compositions that reach up to 20 minutes. Their lyrical and visual themes frequently explore the contrast between light and shadow, hope and doom, often set against mystical, nature-inspired backdrops like dark forests and sunlit mountains.
