Biography
The Biography is closely related to the town Al-Berto comes from. It is Engelberg, Switzerland. They got there a pool of musicians from where you can always pull power for whatever project. Over the years Engelberg has seen lots of bands around the same musicians. Al-berto and the Fried Bikinis is one of those projects and started in 2005. Some of the members have been playing together since 1991. .. The Fried Bikinis project works like this: Al-Berto goes travelling to surf and climb around the world. There, he has the time to meet wonderful people, weird people, people like me, people completely different. All that makes his mind tumble, sometimes his heart, too. .. Back home or on the road he records the inspirations and revelations and if there is a concert he asks the Fried Bikinis to support him and have a good time. It feels like a perfect formula.
Al-Berto performs in different formations, from one to four man Band: Artists supporting Al-Berto so far: Reto Dula Eller, Beat Barmy Barmettler, Tabea Schwab, Thomas Infanger, Lukas Speissegger, Cooper Roberts, Jérôme Galli, Raphael Zingg, Roli Wuersch, Raphael Walker, Nik Fehlmann (in chronological order)
