Biography
Audubon Winters, professionally known as cavyion, is a Filipino recording artist and record producer born in the Philippines. He began posting music in late 2023, initially releasing material through SoundCloud. His first official single, "Love Live," was released on streaming platforms on May 25, 2024. During his early career, he became associated with artists including YungLex, Yvnlazy, ri4h, and nxne, several of whom would later contribute to or appear alongside him on various projects.
On June 17, 2024, cavyion began production work for Yvnlazy’s debut album, Longing, and what lies Beyond. The album was released on July 5, 2025, approximately a year after work on the project began. cavyion received a production credit on the track "I'm done gave y my all," which also features nxne, an artist with whom cavyion had previously worked. The project became part of cavyion's growing involvement in independent music production alongside his work as a recording artist. During this period, he continued developing his own material while maintaining collaborations with artists within his online musical circle.

Following the release of his single "Ikaw," cavyion announced his debut studio album, Au Revoir. The album was released on July 17, 2026, during his birthday week. cavyion produced, mixed, and mastered the project himself. Au Revoir was conceived around the idea of leaving behind cavyion’s adolescence and the musical style associated with his earlier work. The album marked a transition toward a different direction in his music while also incorporating collaborators connected to different stages of his career. Contributors to the project include Beomical, Bian Lee, yunowav, and YungLex, while the album artwork was created by kan1360. YungLex appears on the album’s seventh track, Love Live! Sunshine!! The collaboration followed several years of contact between the two artists, who had been mutuals since 2020, before cavyion began officially releasing music. The production of Au Revoir also involved contributors from six different countries. Rather than maintaining the same musical approach across every track, the album was structured so that individual songs could have distinct identities while remaining part of the same project.
Musically, cavyion's work draws from PluggnB, Hyperpop, and Kawaii Future Bass, his production frequently combining PluggnB elements with the bright, electronic sound of kawaii future bass. Snail's House has been cited by cavyion as an early influence on his production, as well as artists/groups HO-KAGO TEA TIME, Deko, Hella Sketchy, and Mitsukiyo. Outside of music, cavyion has cited hololive English VTuber Gigi Murin as an inspiration as well.
