Biography:

glamscure is a Japanese visual kei band formed on April 23, 2015. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Chaos (ケイオス), guitarist Harui (ハルイ), bassist Inori (祈~いのり~), and support drummer Jun. The band held its first live performance on the day of its formation at Takadanobaba AREA and distributed the demo subliminal.

On June 10, 2015, glamscure performed at Ikebukuro CHOP and distributed the remix release fruitless (KALM Remix). The band's first self-produced event, melancholic blood baby vol.1., was held at Ikebukuro CHOP on December 29, 2015, where the single evil-minded was released.

The second installment of the event series, melancholic blood baby vol.2., took place at Ikebukuro RUIDO K3 on April 23, 2016. During this period, Harui suffered an arm injury and was unable to perform at the band's May 8, 2016 live at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU. Guitarist Ruri of Sawayaka ALLERGY (爽やかアレルギー) appeared as support. Harui returned to the stage on May 28, 2016, at Ikebukuro CHOP, with Ruri joining the band for one song. On May 25, 2016, glamscure released downfall and nemesis. By October 17, 2016, the band was performing with support drummer Takashi.

On February 3, 2017, glamscure presented the threeman live Sankai no Kubikase (三界の首枷) with Roqudama Carta (ロクダマカルタ) and nüe at Higashi-Koenji Niman Denatsu. Support drummer BOOGIE (ブギー) joined the lineup by April 2017. The band held its album release event Igyou no Kagee (異形の影絵) at Ikebukuro CHOP on April 13, 2017, releasing the album shadowscapes. Ten days later, glamscure and La'veil MizeriA co-presented the twoman live Kindan no Kajitsu (禁断ノ果実) at Niman Denatsu, accompanied by the release of the single of the same name. The band's first oneman live, Jijitsu wa shousetsu yori mo kinari (事実は小説よりも奇なり), was held on June 16, 2017, at Niman Denatsu, where the single Kuchiru ga mama ni was released. By November 2017, support drummer Yuu (優) had joined live activities.

In 2018, glamscure released Succubus≒incubuS on February 7. The band continued its self-produced event series with melancholic blood baby vol.3. at Shinjuku Zirco Tokyo on February 16, vol.4. at Ikebukuro EDGE on April 29, and vol.5. at Ikebukuro CHOP on May 25. Additional threeman events followed throughout the year, including performances with Roqudama Carta and doukoku (慟哭~doukoku~) at Ebisu club aim on June 28, with MARCO (マルコ) and CYTOCHROME (シトクロム) on August 3, and with Larme Belladonna and ZIGGRAT (ジグラット) on September 18. On December 9, 2018, glamscure released the single QUE・SERA・SERA at Shinjuku HEAD POWER.

The band appeared on the omnibus release ZEALLINK Happy New Year DVD ~2019~ on January 2, 2019. Later that month, glamscure participated in ChinuRARETA Joutaijou 2019 (血塗ラレタ招待状2019) alongside Ru:natic, La'veil MizeriA, and ZIGGRAT, performing with support drummer Rukoh (縷紅). The single Baptisma was released on April 22, 2019, followed by the band's fourth anniversary live Cerimonia at Ikebukuro CHOP on April 25. Inori's birthday event Ikebukuro Obakeyashiki was held on May 29. Support drummer Kiro (キロ) joined live activities in July. On November 17, glamscure held the release event for the single Gloria at Ikebukuro Sugamo CCO. The year concluded with a free threeman live featuring SARRMATH and MARCO, with opening guest MOB, on December 25, again supported by Rukoh.

During 2020, glamscure continued performing despite restrictions on live events. On November 17, the band took part in Ikebukuro CHOP's 18th anniversary threeman live with THE SOUND BEE HD and E.T, which was also streamed online. On December 25, glamscure celebrated its fifth anniversary with a streamed threeman live alongside Bedtime Story and Rei of MARCO.

Throughout 2021, the band held a series of twoman and threeman events at Ikebukuro CHOP. These included KOME no Yousei HARUI Shuukakusai (コメの妖精 ハルイ収穫祭) with aie on February 17, Kindan no Kajitsu ~Dai Ni Gikyoku~ (禁断ノ果実~第二戯曲~) with La'veil MizeriA on April 23, where the single of the same name was released, Inori's birthday threeman live with luin and Jaki on May 28, a threeman with beninosakura (紅ノ桜) and MARCO on July 9, a twoman with Bedtime Story on August 23, a threeman with THE SOUND BEE HD and the Reveude on November 9, and a threeman with Jaki and ZIGGRAT on November 24.

On February 16, 2022, glamscure held Harui's birthday live Tansuikabutsu no Oni (炭水化物の鬼) at Ikebukuro CHOP. Following the performance, the band temporarily suspended live activities.

After more than a year and a half of inactivity, glamscure resumed activities on October 25, 2023, with the oneman live Karei Naru Fukkatsugeki (華麗なる復活劇) at Ikebukuro CHOP. The single Setsunai wa Isetsu was released the same day. Support drummer Yuu returned for the performance. During 2024, the band continued live activities with support drummers Jun, madoka, and Kimoto Masaya (キモトマサヤ). On April 23, 2024, glamscure celebrated both the birthdays of Chaos and Inori and the band's ninth anniversary with the threeman event Compleanno -Auguri Stellari- alongside La'veil MizeriA and Industrial Apes. On July 27, the band performed at Osaka Teradachou fireloop and released the single Camera Obscura.

On January 24, 2025, glamscure held the threeman event Camera Obscura Drive with NOi'X and Geomatrium at Ikebukuro CHOP. By September 20, Kimoto Masaya was serving as support drummer. The band's tenth anniversary oneman live, Ki'en no Jiu (奇縁の慈雨), was held on December 11, 2025, at Ikebukuro Sugamo CCO. At the concert, drummer madoka officially joined the band as a full member. The single fruitless was released on the same date, followed by Hito no Gomi on December 12.

In 2026, glamscure held Harui's birthday live Henshin (変身) at Shinjuku Zirco Tokyo on February 19. Three days later, the band performed the twoman live colorless bouquet with Mission Mode9 at Ikebukuro RED-Zone ANERIS and released the single colorless bouquet. Chaos' birthday live NVDB -Ne Vedremo delle Belle- took place at Takadanobaba CLUB PHASE on April 30, followed by Inori's birthday live Yami ni Kage wo Kasu. (闇に影を架す。) at Ikebukuro EDGE on May 25. On June 5, the band released 9:05AM. The Panorama Shasou Kikagaku (パノラマ車窓幾何学) tour began on June 14 at Yokohama Music Lab. Hamashobo, accompanied by the release of the commemorative CD edition 9:05AM 記念CD盤, and concluded with a oneman live at Nishiogi BETTYROOM on August 1.

Later in 2026, glamscure embarked on its first Latin American tour, glam・witchcraft・tour. The tour began on October 24 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at Gier Music Club, continued through São Paulo, Brazil, Lima, Peru, and Santiago, Chile, and concluded on November 2 in Mexico City, Mexico, at Foro 1869.

They are part of the kote kei and tanbi kei subgenres.
