Biography

Harmeet Singh, known mononymously as Harmeet, is an Indian underground Desi Hip Hop rapper, lyricist, and songwriter. He gained widespread recognition as a contestant on MTV Hustle Season 5: Apna Homeground, where he stood out for his distinct stage presence, performance confidence, and his signature traditional turban. Shifting away from conventional hip-hop themes of swagger and punchlines, Harmeet's musical style is heavily defined by raw poetic storytelling, focusing deeply on internal conflicts, human emotions, and everyday personal struggles. His introspective track "Jhoot" gained viral traction on the show, earning praise from both fans and judges for its sharp, honest commentary on procrastination and self-sabotage.
