Biography
Hailing from the smoke-hazed underbelly of Australia, underground producer and artist myfutureself is constructing a chaotic sonic universe entirely on his own terms. Driven by a relentless obsession to play pingpong with the ghosts at the cemetery and cave diving even in the tiniest cracks one can fathom. His production carries a distinct, nostalgic warmth—even if it’s conceived under the most unhinged circumstances. Just like the heavy metal rap that C4-18 carries with his beats, myfutureself is clearly more than an underground wrapper for your burrito.
When he isn't locked in the studio cooking up lush, hard-hitting plugg rhythms, myfutureself can usually be found chain-smoking on a back porch, splitting drinks with a localized syndicate of feral chipmunks. It’s exactly this blend of surreal, nocturnal lifestyle and raw musical focus that fuels his creativity.
