Biography

Olisarus is an experimental and psychedelic instrumental project formed by the lead singer of the band 'Bring Me The Horizon' Oli Sykes, started when he was just 17 in mid 2004, and concluding in late 2005. 'Olisarus' almost became an instant hit on the social networking site 'MySpace'. James Spence of Rolo Tomassi accompanied Oli's electronic beats on guitar back in January of 2005 resulting in tracks such as "As drunk as an owl" and "Girlsss" which are currently circulating the internet; James Spence also did the Traitors Never Play Hangman Acoustic cover that people rumour that Curtis Ward, one of BMTH'S original guitarist's did. However, this is false. Despite finding fame in the band 'Bring Me The Horizon' Oli Sykes has continued his old project 'Olisarus' and has most certainly developed in his music, resulting in an explosion of soothing synths and heavy riffs. Alongside Oli is a close friend, Neil Whiteley, both of which are in the band Purple Curto another side project from the pair. Neil accompanies Oli on the guitar and bass whilst Oli flows with his creativity on the keyboard and drums, resulting in "Where The Fuck Are You?".

Olisarus hasn't been active since the late 2000s, but has been referenced by Oli on an instagram post in 2018 after years of silence about Olisarus.
