In terms of vision Everything Judged by Success Alone is about as close as possible to a one man vision of Godspeed You Black Emperor as anyone's likely to be able to conjure up. This album's worldview is just as (if not more) bleak than that collective's ideas
Brainwashed Magazine
The guitar playing has a beautiful simplicity to it not unlike Godspeed You Black Emperor
the perfect soundtrack to an evening of self harm...
Norman Records
Tracks mixes eerie guitar with strange snippets of found audio. Dark and unsettling - minimalist instrumentals with the threat of
imminent violence looming menacingly in the background.Uneasy listening but strangely soothing like too much codeine
Outside Left Magazine
Depressively nervous mood is in every song from the 11 songs, but on this record we can also find gentleness infected into the ill soul of this cd.the mixture of different sounds, stirs, incidental and weird mass recordings, but also likeable percussion and ghostly guitar structures.Ruffle up your nerves with Tracks. Everything Judged By Success Alone is sentenced to success, of course non-commercial.
