History:

The band originated from a connection between Sako, who had previously performed as a singer-songwriter, and guitarist Hidaka. The lineup was subsequently completed by Koryo and Juggler. In an interview with Oaiko, the members cited influences including Kinoko Teikoku, Number Girl, and Hitsujibungaku. The band's name derives from a Japanese word-chain rhyme, yureru wa yūrei, meaning approximately “swaying is a ghost.”

Their music combines shoegaze and post-rock influences with layered guitars, atmospheric arrangements, and Japanese-language vocals. The band consists of Sako (vocals, guitar, songwriting), Hidaka (guitar, songwriting), Koryo (bass), and Juggler (drums).

The band released the singles fragment and 鯨骨群衆 in 2024. Their five-track EP mnemeoid followed on March 5, 2025. The single echoes of fading girl was released on August 6, 2025. The band subsequently completed a sold-out nationwide tour beginning in November 2025, including an additional sold-out performance at Shindaita FEVER in Tokyo. In June 2026, they announced their affiliation with the independent label Oaiko.

Their music explores themes of memory, absence, and longing, expressed through atmospheric alternative rock and shoegaze textures.
