Biography
Eaten by Sharks is a Canadian technical death metal and deathcore-adjacent band hailing from St. Catharines, Ontario. Self-described as a "nautical death metal" act, their entire aesthetic, imagery, and lyricism center heavily around maritime horror, shark attacks, oceanic ruin, and the hubris of humanity facing apex predators.
Musically, they blend the technical precision of progressive death metal with the punishing grooves and breakdown intensity of modern deathcore. Their sound frequently earns comparisons to acts like Fit for an Autopsy, Cattle Decapitation, and The Black Dahlia Murder.
