Chasing Strangers, Matt Lancaster's first album, sounds on its surface like a true musical masterpiece. With his mixture of a fast rhythmic guitar, penetrating beats, soulful vocals and lyrics we are led on a roller coaster ride of listening thrills. The songs are deeply complex and simply astonishing. This can clearly be heard on the track "Won't You Give Me Some Sugar”. Comprised of an up-tempo drum line and pure rock sounding riffs, you will need to play this track on an endless repeat.

With the song, "I Need", we encounter a modern love song, which talks about the anguish of being away from a lover for an extended period of time.
