Biography
Piołun is a Polish black metal band from Lublin, formed in 2019. They craft melodic, atmospheric, and nihilistic black metal inspired by 90s Scandinavian and Polish traditions with a modern edge.
The band, led by Sorh (vocals, guitar, songwriting), with Vitor on drums and Neither on bass, draws from the raw spirit of 90s black metal while incorporating melodic and dynamic elements. Themes include death, nihilism, the fall of humanity, apocalypse, and bitterness. Their music is dynamic, melancholic, and rooted in the Polish black metal scene (alongside acts like Mgła and Blaze of Perdition).
